WWE Star Babyface Turn Confirmed – Selambe

On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown (June 14) one recently drafted star has seemingly confirmed they are a babyface on the main roster.

It has been quite a journey for Baron Corbin over the past year as he spent a spell in NXT and has since returned to the main roster.

Featuring on SmackDown tonight, Corbin initially appeared in a backstage segment with GM Nick Aldis looking forward to a ‘fresh start on SmackDown’.

However when he was interrupted by Legado del Fantasma who mocked him, that mistake would eventually come back around later in the show.

While Santos Escobar took on Apollo Crews, Berto and Angel weren’t able to interfere in the match because instead they were intercepted by Baron Corbin.

Corbin would fend off Legado’s tag team twice in the match but unfortunately, it wasn’t quite enough to solve Crews’ Escobar problem.

In the end, Santos Escobar would still pick up the victory over Apollo Crews.

However, Corbin coming to the aid of Crews does cement he’s now a babyface after his recent absence after an initial match against Carmelo Hayes when he was first drafted to SmackDown a couple of months ago.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles had a fiery in-ring exchange which referenced AEW in a big way.
