WWE’s Asuka undergoing injury rehab following knee surgery – Selambe

Asuka has shared details regarding her recent knee surgery.

The WWE star’s latest video on her YouTube channel showed her walking into the hospital to undergo surgery. Specifics regarding the knee injury were not shared.

According to Asuka, the surgery, excluding preparation, lasted around 90 minutes. She was discharged from the hospital the day after her surgery and wasn’t able to walk on her own.

“The doctor told me that the surgery was a success,” she said. “My knee hurts, but I can take painkillers and I’m fine.”

She said that she would be moving to a rehabilitation center to begin rehab. The video ended with the words “See you soon.”

Asuka last wrestled at Backlash France in April, losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. She announced following the match that she was taking a break from WWE in order to treat a knee injury. Earlier this month, she showed her leg heavily bandaged and in a brace on social media, indicating she had recently undergone surgery.
