UNC football is the first major program to offer Reidsville athlete Dionte Neal – Selambe

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s football program became the first Power 5 team to offer Reidsville athlete Dionte Neal.

Neal is an advanced standout as a point guard in basketball and as a receiver/defensive back in football.

UNC offered the class of 2026 prospect as an “athlete”. Neal is also competing for the starting quarterback spot for Reidsville this season.

Neal is listed at 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds.

He has received multiple basketball offers. Hampton, High Point, College of Charleston, NC A&T, Western Carolina, and NC Central have made those verbal offers.

Neal’s football offers had been from Western Kentucky and East Tennessee State.

Over two seasons on varsity, Neal has 90 receptions for 1,277 yards and 17 touchdowns. Defensively, Neal has been credited with 48 total tackles, 15 interceptions, 18 pass breakups, and a forced fumble.
