NXT draws its best rating of the year for TNA star Joe Hendry’s surprise appearance – Selambe

The ratings and viewership data are in for the June 18 episode of WWE NXT.

According to Wrestlenomics, the show averaged 724,000 viewers and scored a 0.26 rating among 18-49 year olds. The overall audience slightly up from last week’s 718K that featured Cody Rhodes’ appearance, and this result is now NXT’s highest demo rating of 2024.

The main attraction on this episode of was the cross-promotional battle royal that kicked off the show and featured several main roster wrestlers, as well as TNA stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian. The overall result is a smashing success, so don’t be surprised if there is more to come on this front now that WWE is open to collaborating with other wrestling promotions.

It will be very interesting to see what demo rating AEW Dynamite brought in last night; that show has fallen under a 0.26 demo rating for seven of the previous eight episodes, so there’s a chance that NXT can actually beat Tony Khan’s promotion for the week with their high mark of 2024.
