Ridgewood Wins Back-to-Back Flag Football Titles – Jersey Sports Zone – Selambe

The Ridgewood Girls Flag Football team cements its legacy in the newly founded chapters of New Jersey Girls Flag Football history books. The Rebels defeated Wayne Valley for their second straight NJ Super Football Championship.  Watch all the highlights from MetLife Stadium!

Senior Katie Bisgrove led the way for Ridgewood throwing three touchdowns, including two to sophomore Danielle DeNoy. The play of the game and perhaps one of the best flag football touchdowns of the year came late in the first half. Bisgrove threw a long shot into double coverage that was tipped by a Wayne Valley defender and ultimately landed in the hands of freshman Gabby Winn for a 30-yard touchdown to gie te Maroons a commanding 20-0 halftime lead. Ridgewood completed their eighth shutout of the season, and came out with their second straight title on one of the biggest stages at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
