Released WWE wrestler Brooks Jensen arrested for trying to crash NXT – Selambe

Let’s check in NXT’s Brooks Jensen, who’s working an angle that he’s been released from WWE.

Before the June 18 episode of NXT, Jensen posted a video selling the idea that his 30 day non-compete period (the standard length for developmental contracts) will be up on Friday. He also continued to work a drinking problem into the story:

“Why am I not on NXT tonight? I am laying here and I’m just drinking I’m just like, ‘Man, only if I was on the show tonight. What can I do to bring value to the product?’ I guess to the booker man, I just bring no value. So what do I do for the next three days? Do I just sit around? Do I wait? I don’t know. I just wanted to go on here and express my emotions that I’m leaving WWE. Soon, you’ll hear back from Bro… from Ben Buchanan. [Laughs] God, I’m so drunk.”

As you can see, he’s also changed his X/Twitter account to reflect his real name.

During last night’s episode, Jensen made another “unauthorized” appearance at the WWE Performance Center. Security could be seen dealing with some issue in the crowd during a promo segment between Men’s North American champion Oba Femi and Wes Lee, and fan-shot footage posted online revealed they were trying to get Brooks out of the building.

He was later seen (and heard) in the background of an interview with Eddie Thorpe conducted outside the building, handcuffed and being taken to a police car.

Where is this going? A lot of people think Jensen, or I guess we should say Buchanan, will show up in TNA soon as part of an ongoing crossover that’s showing signs of building to an inter-promotional war. But let us what you think in the comments below. And on your way down there, check out our playlist of the rest of the highlights from the June 18 episode:
