The setup of the ring has a science behind it and it emerges as a priority to do it the right way. So this way the talents wouldn’t have an issue wrestling in it. However, the one in Glasgow didn’t seem up to the mark as the ropes were looser than usual. A page on X posted a clip from the opening match where the referee cautioned AJ Styles about the loose ropes during his entrance. This fired up a user who replied to the tweet by saying, “So the refs knew the ropes were loose before the bell rang for the very first match and they weren’t fixed even by the main event??? Unfortunately, things didn’t work in Priest’s favor as he ended up botching the spot, getting entangled in the ropes. This is what appears to have caused him an injury. Moreover, initial concerns suggested that he would need some time to heal according to a source. But the full extent of the injury has yet to come to light. The WWE would be hopeful of avoiding a repeat of Rhea Ripley situation as they look to rely on Priest to have a fruitful reign that ends on his own terms. We can ascertain further details on the injury in the coming days. Nevertheless, the whole ordeal could have been avoided if the necessary steps were ensured by the wrestling promotion.
